The following routes separate jail custody, police reports, state prison files, and court outcomes:
- For a booking photo, intake sheet, newest booking, released record, or archived roster entry, begin with the county search and request guide on the home page.
- For a selective wanted listing or a possible filed warrant, use Wanted Fugitives, then confirm through the sheriff or Circuit Clerk.
- For a city police incident report, contact Moody Police, Pell City Police, or Margaret Police rather than the jail.
- For a state court result, call the St. Clair Circuit Clerk at 205-594-2184 in Ashville or 205-338-2511 in Pell City, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- For a person serving an Alabama state-prison sentence, use the Alabama Department of Corrections inmate search or its public-records process.
- For federal or immigration detention, use the appropriate Bureau of Prisons or ICE locator because those systems are separate from the county jail.
